Haha, cute. I personally love dancing in stories. Cliche, yes, but for a reason. When done right, it just sings to a romantic's soul. You did it right. :L)
I especially loved the outside perspectives from all the different groups, and the Pikachu reveal of their true identities. The first kiss was my favorite-who doesn't love a surprise kiss?-but the others were also nicely written without going into too-mushy territory.
Overall a great little one-shot. Descriptions, pacing, romance, it had it all. Thanks for a fun read!

Should you have been studing while you wrote this? I'ts clear. It happens the same to me. You are in the top of your inspiration while you should be doing something else. And if one have your tallent, I believe thats is totally worth it to put it in paper.

James with a ponytail. Someone keep me from melting. Love the play with all the characters, especially the plentitude of Rockets. Hilarious when they finally realized what was going on and totally agree with earlier reviewer saying there is this quiet intimacy between them here. Adored it and definitely agree about it fitting for them. It's definitely one of your most memorable with the chemistry set up and breaks away from that repetitive plot without being crazy or OOC. Lovely, lovely classic Rocketshipping.

I loved the intimate tension you built up between Jessie and James. It was so perfect and made sure that I couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen whilst I was reading this. I also adored the description of the first kiss, as this for me truly set the intimate tone. It was very sensual.

The inclusion of the other characters was very well done. I am a bit of a Diamondshipper myself (well, I'm assuming that's what you were atoning to with Giovanni trying to get Delia's attention), so it was enjoyable to read that passing aspect of the story, and I loved how jealous Cassidy was of Jessie (hinting towards Neoshipping, something else I love). I thought it was a nice touch having the guests watching Jessie and James on the dance floor without knowing who they were and having them all thinking that they would make a good couple. The lyrics also fit this really well.

Haha, whilst they were kissing as the fight went on around them, I had the mental image of Will and Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean kissing on the Black Pearl in slow motion whilst the fight went on around them, from At World's End. Irrelevant, but it was kind of how I imagined this one. xP

It was priceless when the guests all realised just /who/ was kissing on the dancefloor. Their reactions were win. Especially Cassidy's. xD

But yeah, this 'fic almost killed me with its total Rocketshippiness. I think this is my favourite of yours so far. :)
