That something like this could happen honestly never occurred to me. The thing is, I, personally, would never take Mary to be someone to commit such extreme an action. I mean, I can see her possibly falling into depression or something like that, but going so far as cutting and suicide? In my honest opinion, I think that's a bit of a far stretch. As mentioned, there was a bit of spelling and grammar (which is rather normal xD, although by both-handed you might mean ambidextrous?), but it was a very good piece otherwise *nods* I like that you had it go in a circle, starting with the end, and then going back through "memories" to explain that end, before completing the circle by adding a tidbit at the very, very end. Good writing :3

a lot of suicide stories and that aren't very good, so i was a bit sceptical when i read that it was going to result in a death and cutting, but i have to say that this is brilliant.

you really made the characters come alive [sorry, that sounds silly in the circumstances] and mary's letter at the end was so sad

but the thing that made it a brilliant story was anna shrieking as mary was covered in the white sheet. a lot of writers would skip out that and just focus on gray's reaction, but i love how you incorporated that as well.

one of the best stories i've read in a long time.
