A wonderful story. I enjoyed all of the twists and turns. Luna played her part well. As for the end of Bellatrix by Neville, simple karmic justice.

I saved ‘Survivor’ and will read it sometime.

I might have been reading too much fanfiction, but for a minute there I was expecting a twist where Hermione survives, but someone gets blasted by Bellatrix in her place. I'm not sure why Luna would risk just stunning her when she knows why Harry wanted her taken out of the fight and could have done more to keep her out of it. I'm not suggesting that Luna should have outright killed Bellatrix but she took a chance by just stunning her and binding her. The fact that Bellatrix ended up showing up after the battle to try to take more people out suggests that either someone found her, revived her and unbound her or the stunner wore off and she was able to overpower the bindings and get a wand after that, and if the battle had taken much longer she would have been right back in the fight with another shot at taking out Hermione.

I'll admit that I liked the idea of Neville being the one to finish Bellatrix off because of what she did to his parents, but he wouldn't have had to if Luna had done more to put Bellatrix down herself. Reading through that sequence, the thought of killing someone didn't seem to bother her when she took out Malfoy, so I have to wonder why she would then simply try to incapacitate Bellatrix rather than kill her too.

I was looking for a HP premonition story and I stumbled across yours. favorited 'Survivor' a long time ago but this gave me a chance to reread it prior to reading your story. Thank you for writing a way to save both Hermione and Harry! It unbroke my heart...

I read "Survivor" like you suggested and cried ALL the way through. I started reading your story and in the dream sequence I almost put it away thinking "I cannot go through that again" but I persevered through it. Thank you for writing this happy ending. A wonderful story.

Many, many likes on this story. I came across Survivor last night and cry so hard that I almost felt sick. A happy ending of the story is a joy to read.

This is wonderful. Luna really came through for Harry and Hermione and Neville got to eliminate the madwoman that destroyed his parents. It is sad so many had to die but our heroes get to live their lives free of Voldemort and his deatheaters. Thanks for a great story. pms

This is a very rough time for all of them. I can understand why Harry would want to do something so stupid as have a night out with the guys. The timing was bad though. I can see Harry's point but Hermione is grown. She is of age and he can't tell her what to do. Finally he has realized that but that doesn't mean he won't take steps to ensure her survival. I'm glad Arthur stood up for Ginny but he had to use his head of house power to do it and Molly is mad as hell at him. I look forward to more of this story. pms
