I love this, he still won't let his guard down completely but he allows himself to be taken care of probably more than he does otherwise. Because she's a woman. Because she's familiar. That's my take on it anyway, and it actually is something I have been playing with in my head for awhile, too. I love the way she soothes him, the hand in his shirt, rubbing his side, the gentle kiss on the forehead. Beautiful piece, definitely in my faves.

This made me feel so delightfully warm and fuzzy inside. Isn't this what all us girls love to imagine ourselves doing? I love that it wasn't *really* sexual, it was more about trust and comfort. Very nice job. :)

Read this yesterday, LOVED it, but didn't have time to review... then reread it this morning and fell in love with your Dean all over again.

I love Dean breaking into the anonymous girl's house (I'm assuming the girl's Enkidu07...) and just waiting for her... and then trying to play down his injured shoulder (is it his left one .~ ... he always seems to injure that one...) but the girl's having none of it. And I LOVE the striptease comment and the Rabies conversation. That made me totally laugh out loud...

Then comes the part with Dean in a towel with the lovely bloody description of his injury and the poor guy's exhausted and LOVE the chapped/cracked lips. *I wanna kiss them now...* And the twitches as she cleans his shoulder and the admission to nightmares... LOVES LOVES LOVES!

And THIS, my friend, is levels of ADORABLENESS: "A hot shower and a couple of pills and Dean's loose and limber on the sofa. He's snuggled up in her red hoodie, looking at those papers again. His eyes keep sliding shut." Can Dean break into my house, pretty please?

The ending with Dean being mildly freaked out by the cat because he just hunted evil undead pets is awesome... as is falling asleep...
