I can relate to Hannah. I mean, I used to have a nightlight up until a while ago, because I felt the same as she did: alone, in the dark, cut off.

You've sort of brought that in as a theme, and it worked great. I like how you've made Neville and Hannah so understanding of each other and I like that Hannah becomes braver at the end.

I loved this! It was really, really touching and the link between Hannah and Neville is really sweet... I especially loved the part about after the war...

Oh, Neville/Hannah stories just amke my heart melt, and this one was wonderful. I loved your description of the Hufflepuffs, that they ARE the background. I thought that was very accurate, and I loved the phrase "He lent her a little bit of crimson." That was wonderful.

I also loved how you portrayed Neville, and the story about Hannah's little ball of light.

All in all a wonderful story.

This is a seriously wonderful, beautiful piece. I love every single word you used - it seems like they all fitted exactly and I felt really deeply all the emotions that Hannah did.

I have to say that my favourite part (although all of it was just fantastic!) was where Hannah starts believing in heaven - honestly, that was just awe-inspiring.

This is, I think, the best HannahNeville piece I've ever read. I don't think I quite understood before why people like them so much as a couple, but now I absolutely do.

This is brilliant. I love how you made Hannahs fear so real, the emotion and the constant mention of the light was beautifully written and added a lovely touch respectively.

This is unbelievably beautiful. It doesn't sound like a story, it sounds like you're telling this to a friend. The paragraph about when Hannah starts believing in heaven is wonderful, in a sad way. In the second-to-last paragraph where it says that reconstruction is painful, like rebreaking bones, I can really feel Hannah's pain. You write emotions very well!

I loved that! How you show Hannah all throughout her life, and her fear of being abandoned, and then she has Neville, and it's just so sweet how you write them. I love it!

I really enjoyed this story. I liked how it was just snippets of Hannah's life, each of those snippets, espicially when they are together, really bring out Hannah's character. I loved the end, where Hannah wears pink instead of black. Great story.

This was absolutely beautiful and I love how it all just kind of ties in together. Also, the how you kept coming back to the light was brilliant. Favouriting.

I like how you keep going back to the light and how it reassures Hannah constantly throughout the war and beyond. It hink that Hannah is one of girls that always needs to feel safe and this is a good way of showing that.
