A beautiful one shot of Leon's little run in with Wesker playing out differently than canon. One with Sherry offering herself to be taken with Wesker if he spares Leon, instead of Wesker leaving her with Leon as she worries over him. Though Wesker beating Leon in that fight IS canon, pretty obvious why given how vastly different they are in skills and ability.

Claire understandably was upset to hear Sherry was taken, but calmed to comfort a distraught and shamed Leon Kennedy. Despite his best efforts, he had his first real loss just as he gets out of training. At least it'll be a constant reminder that no mater how well trained you are. There will always be those who can defeat you, prodigy/master in combat or not.

It was comforting and lovely seeing how Claire reassured Leon they'll rescue Sherry together, makes me want to see chapters of this story unfold and the relationships bloom for Leon and Claire, as well as Chris and Jill as they track down Wesker to find Sherry.

Nice work. Will you do a follow up to this or is it just a one shot?

So cute! I really like how much thought you have given to this story, from Wesker kidnapping Sherry to Leon meeting up with Claire again. The scenes follow each other very well. Wesker breaking into the HQ and killing everyone before taking Sherry was so cold, but definitely something he'd do. I remember watching Wesker's Report on youtube a long time ago, but kinda forgot that he mentioned he took Sherry so this was a nice reminder.

The kiss at the end was sweet, very spontaneous, but very Claire! Aw, I'm a bit disappointed that this was only a one-shot. From where you left off, it really seems like you can take this story to great lengths. ) Maybe you'll consider that one day.

You're right, Sherry would be the perfect thing to bring Leon and Claire together, and this story made me feel nostalgic thinking about their moments in RE2 and DC together. Lol, my heart is still feeling light from reading this. Thanks for posting his wonderful fic up! I enjoyed it a lot! *fave*

I love it:) I thought it was really sweet how Clare was worried with Leon along with SHerry, and how Leon wanted to protect her. I didn't think it was too fluffy or OOC. Great Oneshot
