Oh holy cow! Is it really the same Alonso? I am so bad at faces. No wonder he looks like he's been through a wringer when Jack meets him. Aw, that whole sequence makes a whole lot more sense, now.

another wounded soul...I'd never thought of Alonso's aftermath in that light (or at all really) but it makes sense...and that sort of healing/bonding is exactly what Jack needs after what he's been through. :)
