sfiddy chapter 1 . 11/24/2018 Florence is a friggin queen. I love Chess for the deplorable, overly complex mess it is (even some of the A awkward lyrics). Also, we may be old enough to recall that cold war stuff. :) I'm convinced that Chess is a fave of those capable of thinking in mixed metaphors. Others may hate it, but it's such a delight. I love it when Florence is played with the appropriate level of spite (so LOTS) and I suspect yours has her fair share! |
yetanotherelizabeth chapter 1 . 9/15/2014 Yes. I love this. You capture Florence (at least my interpretation of her) perfectly. |
dean hasseloff chapter 1 . 2/7/2010 She had been dormant long enough. Somewhere, a star exploded, a bomb went off, and a window shattered. And Florence walked out. I loved that last bit. Very well done. This was very in-character. You described both Florence and Freddie the way they were portrayed in the play. |
ZeeZee22 chapter 1 . 1/10/2010 I think this expresses the rather confusing nature of Freddy and Florence's relationship very well. Your writing flowed well, etc. Although, the last paragraph extra line seemed a little awkward. But in general, a great job. |
