I love this! I actually had a very similar idea where Darien teases Serena but he is so harsh that she runs out of the arcade in tears. He follows her to apologize (After Andrew has a 'talk' with him) but before he can, a youma attacks him.
He knows that he will never be able to dodge in time, so he closes his eyes and waits for the attack. However, when he hears someone who's not him screaming in pain, he opens his eyes just in time to see Serena collapse in front of him.

That was wonderful more plz
