This such a good story. You did an awesome job.

I loved this story! There were some really great lines in at and a very interesting plot. I haven't seen a story like it either. I like how Rose actually harnessed the darkness as a weapon and I felt the characterization was pretty spot on, even Dimitri whom as you pointed out would have been different due to different life experiences.
I really like the ending and that you addressed the issue of Moroi needing dhampir but being unwilling to treat them that way. I also enjoy considering the ramifications of minor changes (obviously not the age difference, but there were a lot of far-reaching minor changes in this story).
There were a few consistency issues, like I wasn't always sure whether you had them on a day or night schedule because you'd say they got up in the am, but then for the shopping trip they left pm, but they would have had to go while stores were open. Just something to keep in mind, always make sure timelines ect are consistent. Maybe you're perfect at it now as this story is pretty old ;)

I really enjoy this story so far and honestly I'm glad their age difference is less in this story. I do find it odd both that Christian is younger (and Dimitri's best friend) and that Rose thinks Lissa getting with Christian is ok but not her and Dimitri. Aside from the mentoring it's the same situation, student/teacher, couple year age difference.
I loved the mysteries reference to Natalie! I heard it in her voice.
I'm interested to see how a lot of things will play out in this story and how much the adjusted time line has affected Rose and Lissa's lives and development.
