That might be my favorite NCIS one-shot ... Everyone was in character!

Can't believe I've missed reading this one before now... a wonderful one-shot, very beautifully written. You write tender Gibbs so very well - I could hear both their voices in my head. Very touching.

What a sweet way to bring them together! Love the setup, love how soft Gibbs is throughout this, love how I could feel Abby's pain. I could hear her voice through your dialogue. Lovely.

Good short story...

This was absolutely wonderful. The dialog was very true to the characters and almost lyrical in places. I'd love to see a continuation of this.

the only point of improvement I could see is that I can't see Gibbs falling immediately for Abbs...I think it would be a more gradual thing with then a sudden realization. I think he's become too cynical for it to happen just like that. But that's just my own opinion so you can take it or leave it as you like.

That was delightful. I love the cuteness of this and how it just sort of fell together. Great job!
