I understand wanting to use Malfoy as the guy Hermione sleeps with. It's a common cliche used in Ron/Hermione fics. After all, it's the 2nd worst possible scenario (after Harry/Hermione) for the couple to deal with, instantly creating the most drama with a minimal amount of effort.

Of course, it really doesn't make sense with what you give us. A pretty witch like Hermione could easily find a guy willing to buy her drinks anywhere if you really wanted her to sleep with someone. She would not approach Draco, not without a lot more non-cannon backstory. Her words/excuse are "wanting to take her anger out on someone." I could see her approaching Draco for this reason, but the moment he was nice to her, that would be the end of things. If she was looking for someone just to listen, she had a lot better options to turn to.

And yeah, it's just lazy writing to use Draco to screw Ron (and his women) twice over. And really

Also, just by quickly skimming your other fics, you are not a fan of ron, or at least not of ron/hermione. Getting really tired of finding stories under ron/hermione written by people who dislike the ship but still write it because it's canon, but do their best to fuck it up as much as possible usually by turning Hermione into a slut or at the very least a selfish, unfeeling bitch and Ron into a spineless dumb-as-rocks git before suddenly giving them their "happily ever after." (Granted, this last is more of a general comment and doesn't really apply to your story).

I must say that i didn't find it insulting that you had Draco sleep with Hermione, she was in a very dark place and alcohol numbs the pain.

Ron has no right to feel upset at Hermione, he was the one who decided to marry Lavender so if Hermione chooses to sleep with A,B or C it shouldn't matter anymore. Besides he was rough so i can only imagine how difficult it will be for Hermione's to make love again, her memories haunt her for sure but if Ron truly loves her then he will grow up and accept that the past is gone it's time to look at the future.

I hate to say it, but you really drove your own story off a cliff with these last few chapters. *Groans* You just had to throw out the Hermione/Draco cliche. So a few drinks is all it takes for Hermione to forget about how horrible Draco was to her and decide to f*ck him? And hearing Hermione rationalize her ridiculous behavior by saying she slept with Draco because she loved Ron too much was a laugher. Watching Ron fall for that was even worse. Will he just let her use that excuse whenever she does something wrong?

But I forgot, Hermione doesn't make mistakes. She only did that because Ron is so mean to her!

What's next in this story? I bet you'll have Ron say something stupid so that Hermione can have a threeway with Harry and Ginny. You'll have to PM me with the results because I don't really feel like reading this anymore. Nothing is believeable or realistic, and now it's not even interesting.

I've been enjoying this story, but I'm not really a fan of the turn this has taken in the last few chapters. You had Hermione sleep with Malfoy, and get shaken up by the encounter? Ok. But I feel this scenario would have been much more effective had it not been Malfoy, but rather a random guy or something. I mean, you already had Malfoy shagging Ron's wife; now he's slept with Hermione? Every time Ron turns around, Malfoy's screwed him over. It's just not believable, and it's cliched as well. There's millions of stories out there where Ron has to forgive a Hermione who's shagged Malfoy.

Add to that the fact that Malfoy sexually assaulted Hermione, but he gets no consequences from it even though he works directly with Harry Potter? I guess maybe Hermione never said anything, but Harry knew that Malfoy was shagging Ron's wife without anyone saying anything. And then Ron beats the crap out of Malfoy, but no one even says anything about it in this chapter.

Anyway, like I said, I enjoy the story but it was a lot more satisfying a few chapters ago when it was much more realistic.

I was a little(or a lot) afraid to read this story first, because of your profile, but i'm glad I did. This is a great story. I'm very impressed that someone who doesn't appreciate the great lovestory of Ron and Hermione can manage to write them so good. Well done :)
