Excellent story. You manage a difficult feat - carrying off Jane's interior dialog credibly and in-character. My only regret is that you didn't finish it. Thanks for writing it.

I'm intrigued by Patrick's plan, and how he will handle this psych doctor.

It's nice to see there's someone else besides the team really cares about Jane, but this man just pushed him too hard and it hurts. Jane has things which are just kept for himself and he'll be fine if they're left untouched. "Something you just can't fix." I'd like the idea that they will tolerate each other, become good friends and then that'd be Jane who handles himself. No one can handle Jane except for himself.
