Wonderful. I love how you've made the Hatter a bit less human and brought out his oddness here, and Carol's voice is so puzzled and kind and funny and perfect. :)

This is so sweet (not the right word but it will have to do.) I LOVE Hatter. He is the best, though I feel a bit sad for the mother.

I like the little looks into how Alice would have had to explain things to Hatter, and how it's sort of irritating to Carol even though she keeps trying to be understanding about it. The bit about being a clam in an oyster's world stuck out. Nice job.

Yes! I've been hunting all over for a fic from Carol's POV. Loved this, it was charming and just pretty much awesome all over.

I have to admit, I was a little hesitant about this story at first. But it just kept poping up over and over and it seemed liked I had to read it. It was so cute! I didn't think I'd like looking at Alice and Hatter's realtionship through Carol's eyes, but I really did. It was absolutely adorable. Keep writing!
