I really like the romance you write, but i think it's best when paired with action like in the Aftermath stories. Any chance you could return to that genre. Maybe finish up Aftermath: The Seed or God Complex - I really like that one.

Jack retiring to be with Sam? I'll buy that. And having her promoted to his old job is very PC of you.

BTW is she being promoted. I didn't see her referred to as General carter, and wouldn't she be if she's going to have a cabinet position? Just wondering.

I loved the fact that you had Rodney actually encounter them and apologize.

No rings? A job at SGC? What is Rod going to do when this hits him? As a working mom, I can tell you it's often hell. Have to see if Rod can deal with his wife back at the SGC and not doting at home over the baby. Let's hope he's a modern Dad.

With the protectiveness over the crib, I can only imagine him with the baby.

Another great addition and yes, I'm reviewing around a particular scene. The one I'll point my other half too ;-)

Anyway, I unfortunately cannot claim those ten points although I know perfectly well which movie you're referrencing. I rightly blame Dani for my lack of participation.

I loved the last two chapters, you're doing wonderfully continuing this month-long Independence Day celebration. Plenty of things going on to keep the reader interested.

I like all of the little Jennifer aspects of this story. That and the momentary flashbacks to past chapters (the silver picture frame etc).

I'm not much of a writer, just a ravenous reader and reviewer. How about at the end of Valentine's Day in the Bay? Ahh! I'm not as obsessed with the "kissing contest" as I've indicated. I thought it might be funny.

Now to the actual story, I can see Rodney pressing that button and yelling at Marie and Jay (love the name, btw, though I guess I should tell that to Dani). I can see her embarrassed walk of shame the next time she passes by McKay, Jennifer's comforting her friend and chastising her mean old husband. If she wanted to be mad at him about something (part 2 I think), here's her chance.

Great job. More please.

That Kidd fellow is a smooth operation, always making out with Marie in odd locations. And Major Kidd won't get cast on Pirates of the Caribbean... 4? I think.

I won't spoil the movie reference, but it's very funny.

Radek with an ex-wife... hhhmm? And Bill and his Warcraft. I do know some women that would love him, but he's not real ;-)

Loved the scaring of Marie and Joseph. Rodney concerned about the sound is a classic.
