Not sure I agree about Ukyo. But I love the story.

I don't really like the way Ukyou comes enters into the manga.
To go from killing to professing love at the drop of the hat.
Always (from what I remember) going after Ranma and leaving Genma alone.
Not blaming her own father for the way she was raised.
Wanting Ranma to run her restaurant with her even though that isn't very Ranma-like.
I don't really like Ukyou.

This fanfic is good and I really enjoy it. I like the out of characters moments with the Ranma 1/2 characters were acting. I like the part where Kasumi snaps and shout at Akane.

kind of cute and i could see this happening if you squint a bit though my main view of akane is she's almost male phobic and definitely a virgin but with a twist in interpretation i could see this way too though i don't like the tacked on ranma/kasumi pairing ... not that i have a problem with the pairing it self but it undermined the impact of kasumi finally sticking up for ranma i'd have liked to see kasumi's standing up for ranma be the start of their relationship

not so far out of character if you take into account the idea of " thou dost protest to much" That Akane using her belief that Ranma is a pervert to cover up her own guilt.

About damn time someone put Akane in that light. *grins like a psycho* I always felt she never deserved Ranma and that he should've just said 'fuck it, I'm out' after the shit he was put through. I never saw the series, but if they explained a bit more on why Shampoo is always trying to get him, they could be a good couple; though if he just got a little closer to Ukyo, they could've gotten together. Anyone, except Nabiki is better than Akane for Ranma in my opinion. Enough rambling, I'm off to find more non-Naru/Hina fanfics, that shit to me is the equivalent to a vampire swallowing a pound of garlic. Utterly disgusting bullshit…
