Beautiful! This movie is one of my favorite Disney movies and this was really really sweet. I honestly never thought about what Zazu did, and you made me think about it. I really like him and Nala and this story did them justice. Grea great story! Made my day! :)

You did a great job of keeping him and Nala in character as well, given that this would be a considerably unlikely conversation for them to have. A good one nonetheless. Thanks for writing!

This is a brilliant piece, and very in-character all-round too. I loved how it was from Nala's point of view, and the last line (about "Banana Beak") was the icing on the cake.

I'm so glad you wrote this. I have always thought that really and truely Zazu was the real hero. Not because he faced more trials or fought the biggest, scariest guy but because he is so small and relatively helpless and yet he wasn't about to leave those cubs to their fate. And as soon as the hyenas showed up he put himself between them and Simba and Nala. He may be a bit stuffy but for a little hornbill he's no chicken!

I really liked this. Fastidious and slightly pompous he may be, but Zazu is gutsy, and it's good to see him acknowledged.

It's nice to have Zazu recognized too. :)

zazu is one of my fav characters (along with timon and pumbaa) so its nice to see him get some attention and I realy liked the interaction between him and nala I can see nala getting along with zazu better than simba dose if only a bit and I agree he was brave I enjoyed reading this.
