I hate you, I hate you, I hate you! How dare you finish this at a cliffshanger? The feelings, the emotions, the angst! You need to write more! I think you just killed a bit of my soul with this story, I loved it but I absolutely detest the ending! What happened to poor Atemu, Marik, Malik, Yuugi and Bakura? This wasn't Yuumieshipping, this was blatant lie, this was a tease! Please, please, please write more, something, even if it's just that he showed up at their doorstep, someone's doorstep, anything!

You know what? You are probably the first author I've seen that's actually pulled off Yuumeishipping successfully. Again, not one of my favorite pairings (I mean, really? *All* of the Hikaris x *All* of the Yamis?...It's extrememly twisted, if you ask me.) But this was interesting, to say the least.

No wonder you won. Beautifully written with an awesome backstory. You captured each of the characters in amazing clarity and real thoughtfulness. This is an expemlary (sp?) piece of writing, a shining example of how fanfiction should be. The ending felt very catharctic, and has left me drained.

Nice story, but the plot doesn't make sense...why would Otogi have made that bet with Ryou if he knew Ryou would die because of it? Wouldn't that have been obvious?

You did this to me!...But I couldn't be more thankful! This story was amazing! GAH! Why do you and Duck have to be so epically AWESOME? I love the way this entire story flowed. It balanced humor, suspence, and romance SO well! I especially loved how everyone fell for Ryou in the end! It was funny and a little depressing in ways will never understand! I also adore the fact that you didn't go for the usual pairings in this. By that I mean, if there's going to be a love triangle between all of these characters, then the most likely people to get togther are going to be the yamis and hikaris (forgive the rather stupid name, but I realy don't know what else the darker and lighter halves are called) It was rather unexpected that Atemu loved Marik and Yugi got together with Malik...I almost wished for puzzleshipping, but then again your story was so good that I was too swept away to notice the absence of my favorite pairing! Wow...I'm really good at rambling aren't I...? Well It's just that this story was so fabulous I don't know which of my spiraling thoughts to put down in writting. I LOVED this story. I can't say that enough. Thank you so much for writing it! Good luck! This was EPIC!

Cute, adorable and really, this is the sort of stuff you should be writing. I'm not talking about the pairing (crazy!) but the tone and style-this is similar to a lot of the other oneshots you've done that I have really enjoyed.

What I think I like the most about this is how everything came back. Little lines had so much meaning and plot-wise, it was just like a circle, you tied up all the loose ends nice and cleanly. You also had some really good, funny lines, and you showed a confidence in your (quite elaborate) AU to give these characters some of the experiences which show us why they are the characters that they are. Ryou is obviously the most developed and a good choice to center the story around.

Now I told myself I wouldn't give concrit this round, as it's the final and we all need a break from my rambling :) Honestly, all of my comments while reading were nitpicky-I wasn't really caught by anything grammatical (yay!) I just think it's more interesting to have reasons and development behind romances, as opposed to previously held relationships. I found myself asking 'why' a lot. Oh, that reminds me-I am so much in love with demon Otogi. I feel like that is so rarely seen but whenever I do see it, it is always amazing!

Okay, so you have improved a great deal throughout all of these stories and I have really enjoyed reading all of them! Thank you for writing this!

Otogi is whacked out, yet bizarrely in character. The first little scene there was a great way to open (aside from the summary bit which was an awesome hook); it makes one wonder 'what the heck is going on here?' I do wonder what 'the usual punishment' is, though..

It was cool how you slowly revealed that this was, in fact, an AU. I seriously love this strange fantasy/demonic/somewhat normal world you've created; it's just...awesome; oh no, I'm already running out of adjectives. ;;

'I have to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid.' 'Well, you've failed dramatically in that area.' LOL, I'll bet he has. x)

'..so it'll be another evening of listening to Seto bloody Kaiba making speeches about the importance of strategy and skill-blah, blah, blah.' I laughed out loud there!

Yugi and Bakura..I was like 'Whaa?' But I guess it was necessary, and anyway, you made it work.

Ooh, that first scene with Malik (the yami..I know I have to clear this up every review; I'm sorry!) and Bakura...that's definitely one of my favorite scenes, if not my favorite. I just adore the atmosphere you got going; it was so dark and..seductive in a way, I don't know. They're so evil, and they really don't care. That part was written exceptionally well.

Malik and Bakura's relationship was also done excellently in that section..I can't put my finger on what made it so realistic and darkly fascinating; I just know it /was/.

Love how Malik called Bakura 'my pretty Thief King'. And the 'people who get in our way die'/'I like that a lot' little exchange.

'And this whole ‘friendly demon’ thing is /not/ a fun part to play. Stupid Bakura, tricking me into this. Now I have to act all mushy with a human brat. Not fair.' ROTFL! You're really making me like Malik! His respect for Ryo's rule-breaking was funny.

LOL, Malik thought there was no way Ryo'd be gullible enough to fall for his sappy lines...and then he did. xD

Atem's confession..aww. So cute, and kinda sad at the same time.

Urgh...BakuraxMalik..now I'm gonna have to find some more fics with that pairing, because you have done it WELL. /

Things keep getting more complicated..I almost went to hunt down a scoresheet to keep track of all the pairings going on!

'[...]before the King decided it would just be a lot cheaper if he made Bakura a Lord to stop him running around and robbing everyone.' LOL! That's brilliant~

'He had just yelled at Bakura. He had just /yelled/ at /Bakura/.' *snicker* Oh dear, poor Ryo. Their conversation was great, not to mention enlightening...Ryo's past explained; I felt so bad for him!

Oh yeah, almost forgot-Bakura, Malik, Atem and Ryuji as demonsepic win. Just FYI.

'"So I’m not planning on leaving this room for a long time. Couple of years should do it.”' *is laughing self stupid*

And almost all the confessions came out in one place!

“Ready to go get our hearts broken?” "Sounds like fun." I reeally love those lines for some reason, particularly the former.

Ooh, I felt awful for poor Ryo. So much love...all the confessions coming in from all different directions!

'“Five people, bloody hell, Otogi- five! What am I going to do?”' XD

Really good place to fit the summary line in there.

“What are you doing inside my house?” Bakura hissed angrily, eyes flashing. “What are you doing in my house?” Bakura growled, impatiently, as Yuugi and Malik raced in after Atemu.'[...]and Bakura’s disgruntled “Sure, I don’t mind having all these people barging in on me, no way. Not at all rude.”' I. Laughed. So. Hard. Poor Bakura; all these people bursting into his house at once! That was golden!

Thanks for the explanations on all the magic; it was nice to have that all sorted out.

The next bit was really well done (craap, I need new compliments!); really dramatic, the way it switched between Ryuji's desperate run and Ryo's confession, and everybody knows something awful's going to happen but we don't know what! The 'I Love You' was...aiy. Adored it.

And then he DIED? DX Talk about a slap in the face! Felt so bad for all of them!

The funeral almost made me cry; all their reactions seemed fitting.

“Of course it’s against the rules, Ryou sweetheart. But you forget that I make up the rules.” Ha ha! Terrific Ryuji line!

And the ending..! *is spazzing out again* Hurray for happy endings, dangit! That was the perfect ending to a PERFECT Yuumeishipping fic!

I couldn't even begin to score this fic properly. It rocketed up into the stratosphere somewhere; I don't even know. You did a beyond-amazing job with this, you actually made me believe in this pairing, and if you don't win I will be shocked.
