This story is depressingly fantastic. Incredibly well-written. I especially love how Arthur at the end pokes holes in Merlin's 'reasoning' when convincing Arthur to not kill Uther. Seriously, I don't understand why the show's writers increased Arthur's trust in magic, only to have Merlin crush it. Talk about irony... Anywho, I totally loved it! Now I'm going to go peruse your other fics! Yay!

A very interesting take on the "Arthur knows" plot, especially since it actually seems to turn around in the end. It all seemed very in character and fit suprisingly well with the actual episode. Good job!

Wow, what a fic! I have always suspected that Arthur is aware of Merlin. The ending was kind of depressing though, because it demonstrates that Arthur doesn't understand Merlin's character well enough and perhaps underestimates Merlin's feelings and loyalty towards him.

Oh, poor Merlin will never win. Save Arthur's life, convince him magic is evil. Use magic for good, ruin Arthur's life. I wonder how the writers are going to deal with this (and before or after the Great Dragon attempts to burn Camelot to the ground)?

Wonderfully written. You use a smart Arthur, one that actually thinks about his surroundings, instead of the stupid one that the writers in BBC have been coming up with.

Your thought process that follows Arthur is good to read, and it makes me want to go back and rewatch all those episode so see any extra detainls I might have missed.

I absolutely loved how Arthur suspected Merlin of sorcery but wasn't sure. Of course, it was disappointing that at the end he thought magic was once again evil, but I guess I would too if that had been done to me. Fantastic work! You are an excellent writer!
