This is another lovely story. There is no 'happy ever after' following something as traumatic as 'recent events '. PTSD or complex PTSD is truly horrifying, and shapes so many lives.
However, the gradual path to healing, with such varied characters from opposing sides, is very touching.
I love Draco's fumbling but sincere attempts at fatherhood. And Hermione's profound belief that she should be less vulnerable than others is very familiar.

o the last part of this brought a few tears to my eyes because i can remember a few 'crying drunks' myself. They way you say vomiting your soul into someone's shoes is a perfect analogy.

This was a good story. I liked your portrayal of Draco. I do think the secondary story about infanticide took up too much of the later chapters (from about 24) but in the end it was all wrapped up. Great work.

It's a lovely story and quite nuanced. But I'm a bit confused. The only child that should be older than Hypatia is Teddy. All the rest of the Weasley/Potter/Longbottom brood came after. And your closing chapter makes it clear that she's 11 at this time. So how old is Lizzie's babysitter? Or for that matter, are you alluding to two 11 year olds making out at the theater?

Definitely intriguing. Although I'm not sure why the story is listed as Hermione Draco when it's decidedly not! Granted, I wouldn't have read if it had been (correctly) listed as Hermione Neville and that would have been my loss but I still feel the pairing needs to be fixed.

What a wonderfully emotionally resonant and true story. There was great narrative pacing and character development. Also, the literary allusions were non intrusive and poignantly apt. Loved this story very much - well done.
