I really like the subtle nature of this story. It seems fitting that it would end as it began: with a promotion party.

Interesting way of framing the story with the two promotion parties. Quite intriguing to read, too. I like the interaction between Jazz and Bluestreak (and between Prowl and Smokescreen), gives nice little hints.

Staring like sparklings at each other does tend to grate, then Prowl? Heh.

Just as lovely on my second read-through. :)
