Ouch! Well written. That one as New Moon Jane would say 'hurt just a little' - even though in the end it felt honest because Jasper remained true to himself.

Obviously a VERY good read.-
In the beginning, I didn't realize him & Alice were together, so I couldn't help but feel disappointed that he would do that to her.
- But, a great read & wonderful writing is what it is.

But quite an interesting "use" of Jasper's empathic gift, to put his victims "at ease" and give them what they want, or what they think they want, before and as he drains them.

You write very well, creating vivid images.

hell to the yeah! LOl Jazz is so sexxy.. and honest! While I like him with Alice, I love him with Bella.. This one had a smack of the timbre of Get Me To You.. and I'm diggin' it (once again) You rock my world!

I love this Jasper, who is dark but strangely human in his not being perfect. I love the honesty in his relationship with Alice, which is also not perfect but seems more real this way than most love stories you read about these days. Somehow, admitting that love is not always easy and that you can't love anyone while giving up who you truly are, makes this love story just seem deeper and more honest: this really got to me.

by the way I love your style of writing.I also loved The History of Now, but this is even better since it's starring a vampsper...

this was... wow. it hurt my heart, but in a good way. very well written and insightful. i especially liked the idea of alice steering people toward the future she wanted to have happen, without explaining the other possibilities. i've never thought of that before.

heartbreaking, because i love their relationship so much, but definitely believe-able. very VERY well done.

one always wonders how it is possible for Jasper to maintain the *vegetarian* lifestyle of the Cullens... sometimes love just isn't enough... one has to admit to what they really are... true love accepts this and sets the heart free in hopes that one day love will return... well written.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this story, other than it is beautifully written. Perhaps, like Alice, I hope that he is not only the hawk to humankind's dove. I will say this, you have planted some seeds in my consciousness, so if you see them sprouting in my writing, don't be surprised.

A very different Jasper. Different, but in a good way. I like it. I always wondered how difficult it must have been for him to adapt, since he seemed to take it harder than the Cullen's. They way you worked his canon empath skills into his need to feed on humans was fantastic; making them feel good while killing them. Interesting twist. It's sad that Alice and Jas don't end up together but then again... as you know... I'm starting to like him with Bella a little bit better.. :)

Very deep and touching. Althout is dark, I think you created a very realistic Jasper. I never got the feeling that he is ashamed of what he is, and I think you showed that perfectly!
