Why, why, why would you think this sucks? It was amazing. The thought of pregnant Calleigh, so cute! I loved the abundance of Eric in this story, especially with the lack of him in the show. Okay, first off: THIS IS AMAZING. You had no reason to be scared of posting it!

I think what I love most about this story (besides the fact that it's happy Eric/Calleigh and that the story ended before you could kill anyone, hehe) is that it truly captures what I think these two are like outside of work. The idea of Calleigh and Eric being happy and affectionate about having a kid a year or so into the future does not feel like a stretch by any means. It's natural.

I think it's a challenge to write Calleigh outside of work. We know what she's like professionally, but you have to wonder how much of that carries over into her personal life, or if she's a completely different person. I think you did a good job of striking that balance- because it's set in the future, Calleigh has had more time to really be comfortable in the relationship. The affection between them in this story is natural and heartwarming, not at all forced or sappy. It's honest and raw and very real.

Oh, and the slight nervousness Calleigh feels right before she tells Eric that she's wanted to have a kid with him for a long time? PERFECT. Very in-character.

And I think that's pretty much all I can think of to say. This scenario just feels right, and you have a talent for writing, so of course you executed it brilliantly. Great job!

Wow, this story is absolutely amazing & totally worth the wait :-D I loved reading it & actually read it twice, I loved it that much. I always love pregnant Calleigh stories so I was delighted to see this one. I love the detail in this story and could totally picture everything happening. I would love to see this on the show, if only the writers would listen to fans :-)

This was so amazing! Oh my God! What is cuter than Calleigh and Eric being pregnant? Oh yeah.. I got it! Calleigh thinking about wanting a girl so totally had me smiling like a little girl when I read this. I couldn't stop, and I still can't. This was really amazing, and it makes me very sad that we probably wont get any fluff anytime soon.

It's so wonderful to start the day with something as beautiful as this story. I know how much you love reviews, so I hope this one will make you happy at least 5% of what the story did for me. :D

First of all, I loved it how you described what Calleigh likes about their house, their home. Also, the way Eric comes to her and she doesn't notice, but later feels him everywhere. And there's not enough space in this review for me to explain how much I loved when they talked about the baby. However, even if there was enough space, I wouldn't know the right words. Sometimes when I read your stories, I'm not sure the right words exist.

The point is that you're fantastic, wonderful, PERFECT writer and that your stories are the best out there. :) Keep going Jess. Oh, and as I told you: Totally worth the wait. ;)

P.S. You can totally pull off 2nd person. ;)

That was just so perfect. Just how it needs to happen on the show. I love all the really detailed descriptions you give - I could have sworn at one point I was on the balcony with them. I was so lost in the story that when Eric licked those sexy, luscious, if-he-were-mine-I'd-be-permanently-attached lips I found myself doing exactly the same thing in anticipation!

I love Eric and Calleigh in love because they are just so in love too...even hunting for a house is this super sweet experience. It makes me happy.

""I was thinking that," he murmurs softly, the low, sensual tone chasing a delicious shudder throughout the entirety of your body, all the way to your bare, pink-polished toes." Oh my goodness...if Eric ever said anything to me in that voice, I'd shiver too...hot. And I love that they never break eye contact when she takes the first sip of the grape juice...it's totally the kind of intimate thing one would expect from Eric and Calleigh.

"And a dream indeed, you think delightedly of his admission, basking in the feel of his arms around you. A soft smile graces your lips – logic would tell you it's merely a coincidence, but for once in your life, you silence that voice of logic in your mind in favor of a different voice, one that tells you what you know in your heart to be true. The moment that you finally opened that final door to him, the moment that you finally, finally opened your own heart up enough to let him in coincided so perfectly with the moment that everything in your life finally started falling into place – you'd always had that in your career, but it was something that had always eluded you emotionally, until Eric." I like that you've added this. Calleigh's always the one waiting for the other shoe to drop, and to have her be like "this is happy and I'm going to take it without worrying about what could go wrong."

Again, I love that Eric and Calleigh are both all about the half you, half me thing. It's so cute (and so true) and I love this: The fact that part of her is you while the other part is Eric leaves you feeling such a deep yearning to have her in your arms right now. It's just so cute.

"Make love to me, Eric…" wow...I don't know how I missed this yeserday, but that's hot. The way that she says it is so intimate, and I can't imagine Eric even wanting to turn her down ;)

So anyway, you're going to write a letter to TPTB telling them that EC needs a baby, yes?

Thank you for the fluff...the lack of Eric has things really sad, and it's nice to have a bit of fluff to brighten things up.
