Was fun to see the knights again although it did feel a bit one sided when it came to dialogue. Which is fair given they were just cameos. It gave me a nice chuckle to see that you continued you're habit of including a vampire/orc.

Overall the series was as enjoyable as I hoped it to be. I am a bit saddened that you appear to have not picked up writing mass effect, but so be it

At last I have got around to reading this last chapter :) I think the idea of Ashleigh having the 'holy disease' creates a nice sense of things coming full circle, especially as it means Juggles, Ashleigh and Reilonde all have extended lifetimes. It makes what happened to Juggles not be such a tragedy, and without just curing her, as I'm sure many other authors would have been tempted to do.

I'm intrigued by Sheogorath's appearence right at the end there, and were it not for your future Mass Effect fics planned I'd think it was foreshadowing. Would be interesting to see a more Shivering Isles-based fic from you, especially as I know you'd look at it from a completely different perspective to most other SI fics *hint hint*

Yet another wonderful, utterly absorbing fic, SickleYield. Beautifully written. I know I'll be subconsciously looking for your characters the next time I play Oblivion, they're that ingrained in my perception of the Elder Scrolls universe.

Oh, well done! I can tell how deeply I'm affected by a story by the level of remorse I feel that I've come to the ending. I can tell you that I'm very sorry that I don't have another chapter to anticipate finding in my in-box; I just hope that we haven't seen the last of Ashleigh and Reilonde. You leave a very artful hook in Sheogorath - could this be groundwork for a sequel?

I've never played Mass Effect (although I hear the storyline is well-conceived), but then again I've never played Warcraft either and that didn't stop me from reading your stories based in that universe.

Most of all, I'd like to know if you're planning a sequel to "The Game of Wyrm and Soldier". The world you've created there is intriguing and there are so many unanswered questions - about the history of the game, the various races, the place and sources of magic and many, many more. For any readers on this site, here is a suggestion for which you will thank me - If you are a fan of SickleYield's fiction based in Cyrodiil, wait till you see what she does when she has her own universe to play with.

I'm curious about the differences between writing for an audience that is already familiar with a particular universe (such as Cyrodiil or the Capital Wasteland) and an audience to whom you must introduce a new a new and mysterious world. I know this isn't the forum in which to discuss fiction that isn't based on some other work, but I felt that when one of the writers here breaks out and puts an excellent, original story to paper it is noteworthy and deserves mention.

What a sweet ending to a wonderful tale. My only complaint would be that it took a few chapters to get here. I know you like to keep the chapter length in manageable bites but this one felt a bit too stretched out. Besides that small complaint, you still haven't lost your touch for tugging on the heartstrings.

You know, I was just going over some previous chapters and remembered that the 'black one' prophecy had never had any solid solution. And here in the next chapter I read is that answer. I admit, it could have been a little clearly why exactly the darker corridor was preferable, but I'm glad that wasn't just left hanging.

I'm interested to see your portrayal of Azura, simply because she's really the Daedric Prince seen most in-game aside from Sheogorath.

By now I really shouldn't be surprised at your ability to throw twists in that I would never imagine, but damn it you've done it again. I think this was really Juggles' best chapter so far. Don't get me wrong, I adored her before this, but this is the first chapter where she's made a truly significant impact, and what's even better is you didn't even have to make her break character to do so. She beat Mephala not by suddenly having a out-of-character moment of clarity, but by just . . . being Juggles.

I now wonder if her request of the eye was merely playful insanity and a misapprehension of Reilonde's wishes, or if she had more motivation behind it. I suppose I'll find out soon.

Oh, and as always your unique take on in-game characters (in this case Mephala) is still top-notch. The idea of the mexican-wave blinking, and Ashleighs thoughts on it, were especialy good.

It's been far too long since I reviewed, but I have been reading each new chapter as you've posted it. I can't think of any appropriate response to this newest chapter other than some resounding applause, so...

*furious clapping*

This was AWESOME. I love Juggles' utter lack of attention to her own precarious circumstances...although I know she isn't REALLY not paying attention, but really just doing that feline thing where they appear to not be noticing something when it truly occupies the whole of their attention. She's too canny to truly ignore something as potent as a Daedra prince. ;D Still, her moxie is astounding and adorable.

I was honestly a little bit uncertain where Juggles' character was going, or what she was good for, since being girled, kittened and vamped. In the beginning s/he was unique and interesting for hir mental disconnect with hir physical form, and I was a bit bemused when you took that sense of uniqueness away from her. The vamping I could understand, mostly because you seem to have a strong fondness for such things. ;) But I wasn't really sure what purpose she still served, other than as a chaperone for Ashleigh and Reilonde. ;D She's answered that question admirably now. No one else in that party would have had the balls (figuratively speaking, now) to address a Daedra so baldly. Yay for wacky Khajiit!

Not sure I really like the mental image of Reilonde with one black and one red eye (especially the "like a bubble of blood" description...ewww), but she doesn't seem to like it a whole lot, either, so I'm in good company. ;) Makes me wonder if future statues and depictions of Mephala will show her with only 7 eyes? And if so, to what mythological significance will her followers attribute it? Somehow I doubt it will include an audacious Khajiit...
