Love it! Dean's personality is in my opinion near spot on, Sam's attitude annoys me slightly but it s pretty accurate, and the idea of dean with wings is awesome!

I can just picture Castiel thinking "Do I go?"

Just finished reading "The Genesis Variant" – man, you blew the doors! I totally loved the way you portrayed Dean's feelings after realizing his new 'benefits'. His panic, desperation and finally, his defeat, before his curiosity takes over and he tries to control his wings – absolutely amazing! And the characters are perfectly written, I had the boys right in front of me while I read the story.

Curious how this series goes on...

Dean with wings fascinates me. Why does he have them? What do they mean? They way you described them appearing was great.

I think you have a great handle on these characters too. I have read several of your stories now and I have never felt that you wrote something very out of character. Which is surprising 'cause...Dean has wings! But the stories all have the feel of what I would see on the show. Very natural. A pleasure to read.

Hope you keep up with this story line, I am very interested to see where you take it. And as someone else said, Dean with wings is hot. 'Course Dean any which way is hot!

I read this whole story in one sitting, and I'm really interested to see where you'll be taking it! The premise is an interesting one and I'm curious to see Bobby's and Castiel's takes on this, I know Dean's gonna call on Cas, but at some point Bobby's gonna find out and I can't wait to see his reaction. Looking forward to the next story.

I love this. I will admit, I really got tired, in the show, of Sam and his "I'm a freak" statements. I wanted to use Sam's own words and go "boo hoo, you have demon blood, get over it!"

You wrote it like it was, but I get this gut reaction whenever he utters those words and then talks like Dean is horrified and is afraid of him. To me, it's not true.. Dean is afraid FOR Sam, not of Sam. It's this distinction that Sam never got and caused him to turn so readily to Ruby (IMHO). I think now he realizes he was wrong.

But enough of my rant.. this is a great story and I loved it!

Loved this story! The idea of Dean with wings - brilliant! I hope you add another story soon. Not a fan of the Dean/Jo pairing so will give those ones a miss, although I am a fan of Dean/Anna if you feel so inclined... Great work.
