How about Sakura and Gaara or Kiba?
Naruto's can be with Karin. Bot are Uzumaki's and they can bring the Uzumaki's Clan back to greatness! Might even be able to change Nagato/Pein's mind about following Madara Uchiha and BE a family! Bring in Konan with Nagato and there is the possibility of 4-10 new Uzumaki's!

So unless Naruto dies from being banished, or after being banished, Sasuke-teme won't go blind? *snap* Oops, as said in a previous review of mine, this fic was tugging on my few disused, dusty and fragile heart strings dedicated to Sasuke-teme, and this fic pulled hard enough to snap them. Admittedly, that's like Naruto being told no ramen, or being banished, but still.

Poor Sasuke-teme. This fic is actually tugging at my heart strings for Sasuke-teme, and let me tell you, those particular heart strings are very dusty and fragile from disuse. Anyways, interesting way of saying that you don't need to physically kill your closest friend to gain the Mangekyou Sharingan, just mentally think you have, either through actually physically harming them, or as Sasuke-teme did, damning them and forbidding their dreams.

If you do yaoi, I'd like to see Naruto paired with Sasori or Itachi...hm, and Sakura with Lee, but it'd be interesting to pair her up with Neji.
