| Guest chapter 1 . 10/3/2009 It was a sweet story, but slightly unrealistic for me. First of all, Draco's parents will never, under any circumstances, accept a mudblood so willingly into their family unless under the threat of a torturous death and/or loss of their cherished pureblood status. They wouldn't want to estrange their beloved Draco by rejecting Hermione, but they wouldn't accept her with open-arms either. Also, Draco isn't acting like himself at all. Where is the arrogant demeanor we all know and love? I totally cannot imagine Draco hugging Hermione and thanking her over and over again (when Draco asked her out on a date). I'd see him being totally nonchalant about it, but silently happy. What you wrote totally doesn't fit his proud image. Your writing is good. A little uninspired, with many cliche lines, but it definitely has a solid foundation. Keep on working on your stories. But, if you continue to work with fanfiction, try sticking to canon. Don't eliminate it, bend it to your will. :D Good luck! -()- |
