I hadn't considered this angle on why Haymitch was always drinking. I think you've done a great job portraying his thoughts and laying it out to make the audience understand him a little better. Great job!

Wow. Something that stood out was definatly how well you portrayed Haymitch's thoughts so that it really sounded like it was him narrating. You seem to have his character down perfect.

I think this is a different approach to Haymitch, but it's beleivable and original. Not too overdone, but still vaguely chilling. Good one.

Really good and sad...I've read a few other fics like this and I totally agree, but if you've read Catching Fire I think it gives another reason.

It was really good, its properly why Haymitch is like that.

After reading catching fire i thoguth maybe it was soemthing to do with the girl from district 12 that went in the games with him... Katniss's mothers friend (Cant remember her name!)
