willowtree16 chapter 1 . 2/25/2013 It was a great outlook on Iantos' final thoughts. |
dani chapter 1 . 7/15/2012 maybe it's because he wanted ianto to go out in a way that was totally original, after all, how many people's last words have been that they love who ever? |
obsydiandreams chapter 1 . 10/17/2010 *puddles* CoE killed me... i hated that Jack didn't respond.. and there are so many possible reasons for why he might not have... heh, i love the ending though... because it is true. Jack did love him. I love how you portray Ianto... so confident and strong. its refreshing. :) very very nicely done. |
lynxzpanther chapter 1 . 8/16/2010 Ack... I think Ianto's death was one of the worst ever moments in TV history. and it made me hate Jack even more. ( but I liked this fic, because it sort of gave me a bit of closure? It just doesn't seem fair... |
captain-ally chapter 1 . 2/18/2010 Beautiful. I absolutely loved it. Going in my favourites x |
mercurial2010 chapter 1 . 11/13/2009 beautiful! I think you've ALMOST made me forgive Jack for saying that god damn word! |
elfmaiden4legs chapter 1 . 10/4/2009 OMG this is beautiful... simply beautiful! |
enchanted nightingale chapter 1 . 10/3/2009 Touching story. |
rain angst chapter 1 . 10/1/2009 Well that was depressing, but at the same time exteremly good. I feel bad for Ianto. I myself thought that to, about how Ianto will become a blip in time, it may take years, but I think that it is a good possiablity. Great job. Love Janto! |
TWIantoJones chapter 1 . 9/28/2009 Hello! I'm not just doing this because you reviewed my story ("Everything Changes"). I read this story just a day or so after you posted it, but I wasn't a member just then. I enjoyed this "inside look" at what could have been going through Ianto's head as he died. I, myself, have been wondering what Jack meant when he said "Don't." And yes, I did cry a little as I read this (all the times I've read it), and no, it's not just because I'm a highly emotional person, but because I could see Ianto thinking all of this as he died. Great job! |
annie252 chapter 1 . 9/25/2009 So beautiful. It definitely seems like something about which Ianto would think and/or say... It's been a few months, and I'm still missing Ianto as if Day 4 happened just yesterday. Also loving the reference to The Dead Line ("blip in time") - I think that that radio broadcast is probably the best writing the show has seen as of yet. |
badcock chapter 1 . 9/25/2009 So beautifully written. It made my heart ache. I still can't watch that episode withoout crying and your story made me do the same. But I loved it. |
lysmachine chapter 1 . 9/16/2009 aw! loved it -s o good how you used Don't :) x |
WhatWldMrsWeasleyDo chapter 1 . 9/16/2009 Oh, weepy sadness. I didn't see all of C of E (toddler bedtimes), just bits and pieces, but I did have to deal with 4 very angry, sad children. It was bad enough when Tosh and that skinny one died at the end of the last series. They all felt very let down. This piece was succinct but emotionally complete. I love the device of the repeated 'don't's and the unspeakably deep and real feelings. You leave Jack's feelings blank, Ianto's certainty about his feelings feels a little desperate, a little hollow. The curse of eternal life. I'm a bit iffy with my Torchwood knowledge, but I do know more Dr Who. I like to think something similar went through the Face of Bo's mind as it gave up the last of its power to the city of weird cat people (was it the cat things?). You should write that too! How Jack thinks of Ianto when it's his time to go! I'm being picky, but I think 'guilt of having bought death' should be 'guilt of having brought death'. |
animeHrmIne chapter 1 . 9/15/2009 So, I'm idly checking my email, and I see the alert for your story and (in my head) I scream HOLY FUCKING GODS MY FAVORITE RLSB AUTHOR WRITES TORCHWOOD? MY LIFE IS COMPLETE! Loves the story. Unfortunatly, it hasn't hit me yet that the unspeakable event has *happened*, so it loses some of it's impact. But I'm sure my friends will cry when they read it. -animeHrmIne ; |
