Glad to see the update but I have a small suggestion. You may want to consider a small recap at the start of the chapter to help those who sorta remember the story but don't have time to reread the whole story again. The recap would help refresh their memories. Anyways, it was just a suggestion. Now to the review.
Nicely done! I love the flashback to the beginning of the series. Small thing I noticed though. At one point Kurama says Botan is distrustful of 'her' instead of 'him'. Nothing major but just a small thing I noticed. Anyways, the flashback was awesome! The speech was also great! I loved how Botan was able to speak for herself and point everything out. I'm sad that they are moving on and such but hopeful for the future although the line that human Kurama wasn't her type made me laugh. Anyways, nicely done!

I was so excited to see that you had updated with a new chapter that I had to read the entire story again from the beginning. Let me say that I fell in love with this fic all over again! This chapter was well worth the wait. I hope that both Botan and Kurama are able to find closure here and allow the healing process to finally begin. You can tell that they still care deeply for one another, but so much time has passed and so much has happened to them. I don't think they will ever truly stop loving each other, regardless of what will happen as this story progresses. I'm happy that they were able to talk to each other, but for some reason I feel like this is just the beginning and their real fight/road to recovery is about to begin (I'm speculating of course). Every time they would like to move forward something or someone seems to come along and take that away from them. Since Yomi has yet to make an appearance, I'm also waiting to see what exactly he'll say (or not say) to Botan when he sees her at the Tournament.

The ending to this chapter with Kurama and the rain was definitely the icing on the cake, so to speak. I seriously can't wait to read what will happen in the next chapters and at this next Makai Tournament. Again, this is certainly a fantastic and wonderful story! (And thank you for writing it!)
