More words... that last line was just so powerful. After watching the Brotherhood and seeing Scar's character development, I realized that he was saved for a reason. Thanks to Winry's parents. I mostly read the romance genre but this one is an exception. I really, really love this.

I have no words, but all in all, that was so beautiful. Scar's thoughts on Winry could've been canon, seeing that he is not really good with words or expressions. This is just so beautiful and perfect. Thanks for sharing!

I am surprised that this wasn't in first place on LJ. Its very well written, and I personally love Scar. He's my favorite character. All I can form into words right now is that this is incredibly amazing. I hope you will do more Scar-centric oneshots or stories. I am willing to put my money down, saying that they will be nothing short of sheer amazment. :)

That was, in a few simple words, absolutely beautiful.

I quite like this story for a number of reasons, the primary one that it seems to capture Scar so very well. The imagery ws amazingly evocative; the bits about him being a scar, and his own feelings about Mei almost gave me chills.

The comparisions between himself and Kimblee were something I'm sure we all think about.

My favorite part is the last line; it's an amazing pararel to what he told Yoki, and I can't tell if that's something he actually says in the manga or if you came up with the line. Either way, it's beautiful.

Rather beautiful, from a perspective such as Scar's. One could feel the hate and other swirling emotions inside his raged mind as they continued towards the story. As the times changes, from Yoki's and Mei's appearance to Winry's act of kindness, the reader could feel the emotional and psychological changes (as well as the promises Scar made himself) in a way that it's dramatic at best. I think that I found a spelling mistake, but that's just to point out, that's all. Thank you for the writing this, as it pretty much perfect with grammar, spelling and everything else. D
