Greetings from 2018. I rather liked this. Good Luna writing. You are great at keeping her weird without making her a MPDG. I hope that, despite this having been made ten years ago, that you are still writing. The world could always use more good writers.

This wasn’t a HP/LL story. This was a HP/GW story where Ginny looked like Luna. Shit story with Luna being extremely OOC.

If Harry was that near why in the world would he have not been at her house with her?

Meh. That is a shit reason for ignoring a friend. A lie perhaps? Then she has the gall to say he was in love but then deny him saying he loves her? He was obviously not in love with Ginny if he broke their relationship off for another girl..?

The girl is Luna obviously. Though at this point I hope they don't get together...which is unfortunate as this is one of my favourite pairings..

Nah, if Luna wanted to kiss Harry instead of Ron then she simply would not have "lost herself" to the kiss. If she was focused only on him then she was obviously very into the kiss which means that she enjoyed it and it meant something to her other than just making someone jealous. I don't buy her losing herself like that and having feelings for Harry... that just proves that even if she got with Harry she wouldn't mind kissing anyone else at the same time..

I can't call this a favorite because of how you've made Luna do all the Ginny-ish things to get Harry, but at least she realized her mistake and came to her senses. It did have a satisfying ending.

This story turns Luna into another Ginny! Ironic.

i dont think i can continue reading this, luna is just too OOC for my tastes as she is smart enough to realize that trying to make a boy jealous then dumping the boy you are with in favor of the one you made jealous, is a terrible idea and will hurt people.

why would luna go to the griffindor common room when she was a ravenclaw. and for that matter are you making her the same year as harry and ron or was ron heading into potions as she was leaving

I enjoyed this story a lot - I liked the way you had Luna incorrectly decide she needed to transform, and the way you had her transform back. The fireworks in Chapter 16 were a nice touch.

I don't know if you're still planning on ever writing that sequel you skecthed out, but it looked interesting and I would read it.
