Nice backstory.
Good balance, he's still not all that fond of interacting with Jackie, but appreciates her as a mother. I think that is very canon in character. :) And the drawing is so sweet (most human two-year-olds cannot write-though my brother could write his name-but I still find it believable because two-year-old Time Lords might be more advanced, him building the Tardis out of blocks is proof.)

The ending put tears in my eyes. This was a very cute story.
