Kina Kalamari chapter 24 . 10/23/2014
Whoa. That was kind of awesome. I had never even thought about that scene much, especially considering it only lasted about two seconds, but you're totally right that it doesn't make much sense.

Also, the thing that made me the most sad about Sirius' death (apart from the fact that he was one of my favorite characters) was the fact that it meant Harry never got to go live with him. Those few seconds between the Shrieking Shack and the Whomping Willow in book three are some of the saddest seconds in the series for me. So needless to say, I love stories like this. Hell, I would totally read a full-length fic based on this concept.
Rurouni Scribe8 chapter 24 . 10/21/2014
Aw poor Snape! I liked his redemption arc besides he was the snarky teacher if a bit of an ass at times. Still it would be interesting...Actually not really cause there's not much of a story left there. I mean Voldy just kinda fades. A bit anticlimactic if you ask me. I like how the story played out in the books/movies thanks.

Lady Sabine of Macayhill chapter 23 . 7/27/2014
Great chapter. The crossover with Kiki's Delivery Service was amusing and I liked it.
Proud Harmonian chapter 8 . 7/27/2014
Good chapter.
although I do have to ask who says electricity and magic do not mix? Those arrogant inbred purebloods who cannot even pronounce or spell it correctly and have no understanding of how it works.
Another example is Diagon Alley, one f the higest concentrations of magic in Britain and yet no reports of blackouts or things not working or exploding. So I think it is a fallacy made up to prevent the "corruption" of the magical world made up by said pureblood bigots.

I had to stop and catch my breath at chapter three since I was laughing louder than is appropriate for Starbucks. Please, keep up the great work! Each piece is so refreshing, and hilarious!

The Shakespeare monologue really made me laugh!
IveGotNoIdea chapter 8 . 5/26/2014
Actually, they do. It's called 'Magitech'.
Not only that, the whole 'magic and technology do not work together' is another unexplained plothole in HPverse.
Ministry of magic, St Mungos, Diagon Alley are all in London, if magic truly destroyed electronics next to it, normal people would have noticed large areas in London where technology fails. How they are going to hide that? Place notice-me-not charms? Well, they are magic as well so it would only increase the area where technology fails, which would require MORE notice-me-not charms that would even further increase the are where technology fails, which would... see where I'm going with that?
Bottom line - technology doesn't work at Hogwarts because JKR said so, if you want an inworld explanation then go with
a)a some sort of 'destroy modern technology ward'
b)every piece of luggage is checked by house elves and all modern technology is destroyed
c)modern things are cursed by pureblood students/teachers who do not like 'muggle toys'
