Maz Near chapter 2 . 7/25 Is this based on your time as a high-school or college student because if so. Oh my god is this freaking relatable LMAO |
HorseStar1 chapter 1 . 1/7/2018 Lamhet. *smirks*. Dare I assume this particular novel is actually a play concerning a man grieving for his father, debating the age-old, existential question "to be, or not to be?"...and also the death of like all the characters? Kinda like Hamlet? Ha. Very clever. I was way more amused than necessary, and it definitely made me laugh. Also, I really loved your story. You did a great job with it and Obi-Wan and his strive for perfection. Cheers! HS1 |
ApollosHarmony chapter 6 . 11/19/2016 That was so cute. Thanks for the great story! |
fluffykitty12 chapter 6 . 3/19/2016 This is ADORABLE! I love it! Thank you so much for writing such a lovely fic! :) |
fluffykitty12 chapter 3 . 3/19/2016 Oh Obi-wan! Wow. Just, wow. This fic is incredibly well-written, displaying Qui-Gon's perceptiveness and Obi-wan's determination and eagerness to please perfectly. The angst is tangible here. I wonder if Obi-wan is going to work himself so hard that he simply passes out or ends up in the med-wing? |
Celeste Belle chapter 6 . 10/6/2015 Aww! |
Stormcutter684 chapter 6 . 12/21/2014 Oh lovely story! Beautifully written. You captured Obi and Qui's characters perfectly and I love it! |
anonymous chapter 1 . 12/9/2013 As a college student with finals fast approaching, I can totally connect with Obi-wan here. He just has much better study habits than me. |
CarryOnMyWaywardChild chapter 6 . 7/21/2013 This honestly is what it's like to switch from High School to College, if you're not careful and are something of a perfectionist. I wasn't careful and I "broke down" and was almost hospitalized for severe exhaustion. I somehow managed to lie to some professors (and be truthful with others) in an effort to allow me some time to rest. Luckily, I did just that, and it helped immensely. Then Christmas break came, and I got a few weeks to fully rest before going back. I can actually really empathize with Obi-Wan in this story. Good work. |
Waffles Risa chapter 6 . 7/18/2013 BEST FIC EVER. I LOVE THIS. |
BladedBlossom chapter 2 . 10/23/2012 Oh dear. Stubborn Obi-Wan. I don't know which is worse - an inattentive Master or a Padawan who won't talk. Obi-Wan's being ridiculous and disrespectful by lying. I'd have cracked under the second or third query of something being amiss. I hope this gets resolved soon. |
Annabel Willow chapter 6 . 6/28/2012 wow. that was an amazing story. i loved seeing obi-wan's emotions throughout the story. |
Cats-in-blue-glasses chapter 6 . 8/26/2011 Awesome job! Wow. That was truly accurate. *sigh* I'll probably be doing almost the exact same thing soon. Very soon. lol. Not really looking forward to that. Anyways, great story, very realistic (mostly). I can sympathize with Obi. *cries* :-) -Charis |
JediMagnet09 chapter 6 . 6/7/2010 I LOVE Qui-gon! He's so awesome! Great job on this story! :) |
Tyndie chapter 6 . 6/6/2010 Adorable story. I loved it! It was a little cheesy at times, but as one who often succumbs to writing cheesy stuff, I understand and can overlook it. I feel so sorry for poor Obi but I'm happy he gets to go on a vacation. :) You actually did pretty well on the grammar front. I spotted several mistakes but not any serious ones. Just remember that every sentence has to be ended with a period, exclamation point, or question mark. That was the biggest problem I saw. Other than that, great job! Obi and Qui-Gon's relationship is refreshingly close. The whole thing gives me warm fuzzies, even at the worst parts, because I knew that Qui-Gon would eventually figure it out and do something about it. . Super cute! |
