That's why I love Irishgirl8! You are the queen of the inner dialogue and you captured Tony's apathy with your usually rich, evocative prose. I could feel Tony sinking as he remember how their marriage ended. very well written.

Interesting point. Jack did need some help though.

I remember Tony's reaction to Bill touching her arm or hand or something. He was ready to fight. I'm glad both Michelle and Bill were able to assure him that their relationship was purely professional.
