And considering everything they've been through, they have more right than most to feel protective of each other!

This story I love but the scene with the bully ALWAYS makes me wonder what WOULD Peter do if Edmund got really beat up, even more so if Edmund got pummled because the bully was trying to get at Peter. I mean Ed would hold his own for a while but with enough people attacking him and the fact that Ed would kill them he'd eventally get knocked down. Peter would totally flip! I do think Edmund, after all the drama died down, would find Peter's fussing amasing before he started to just find it annoying.

Well, I most definitely remember reading this before so I'm really hoping that it was yours and you just happened to revise it and repost it but, then again I really am not seeing any differences...oh gees I hope it was you that posted it first. This is like one of my favorite one-shots and I have been looking for it too.

I did enjoy this very much indeed. Thank you for posting it for us all. It is a lovely character study of the boys. It fills a real gap in the story and thank goodness for fanfiction that allows us to see what should have happened.

I love that you reversed their roles at the end, and the fact that Ed was comforting Peter... I love it!

i like it except for the part where peter swears in God's name. really good story. i like how you write Ed's and Peter's characters. can't wait for more from Nighttime Demons!
