Now. I know you said you weren’t one for angst but this is ridiculous. They don’t even question why the hell he had blocks on his HEALING ability? The other ones are another issue but the healing one is beyond question, there is no way his parents put that there. But they don’t consider it and Harry doesn’t seem to care that he’s been running on 25% of his power, with his mind magic blocked (which should make him angry given his occlumency ‘trainingand that other handy skills that there was really no reason for his parents to block had also been blocked. Ffs.

Okay. Let’s just go through this. He acts all submissive to Vernon in the car and promises that there will be no magical visitors. He realises that the Order is shit and Albus is a cunt. He acts friendlily to Tonks, who knows how he is treated and who he believes to be a blind follower of Albus, completely disregarding his own recent revelations. He then acts snarky to Vernon and tells him that a witch would be visiting regularly, completely forgetting what he did to preserve himself at the start of summer. To top it all off, he starts learning magic with no repercussions due to underage magic.
