Sigh. It would be really cool if someone gave a different perspective on Vegeta. It's so easy to fall back on 'he's in so much pain, he's so cold, he's been through so much, he's so humiliated, he's so obsessed...' yet no one has tackled his character from the other perspective:

He isn't in pain he's got tough skin from being a survivor. He isn't cold he knows better than to be uber emotional for no apparent reason other than it's expected of him. He didn't really go through that much but warrior training because being in Freeza's army great way to be trained in the art of war. He's not humiliated he just met someone who didn't understand what he was doing or had to offer. He isn't obsessed he's compassionate and determined to make his point. He's trying to teach Goku and the others how to be better warriors but they're too busy trying to "tame" him to see it.

This story is too cliche' and it's sloppy just because it's all 'boo-hooey'. If someone talked to me like this story was written I'd cut them off mid-sentence with an authoratative 'I don't care'.

I love this story! The progression through Vegeta's life from the beginning to the birth of Bra was really well-done and beautifully written. I especially liked the short sentences and statements throughout, i.e. the "He is defeated" line. Short, but profound. Awesome job!

wow, it's like everything that happened during the series through snippets of vegetas mind, its weird cuz i already knew what was gonna happen, but i was surprised anyway.
