Damn you! I know that's not a very nice way to start out of review but since the Final Countdown is now playing on a loop in my head (and I guess subsequently yours now as well) I'm entitled to it.

I really enjoyed reading this. The characters are done well and the emotions come through really strongly. It's a really good response to Aliyah. Very bittersweet - I like that in post-Aliyah fics because for everything to suddenly be OK, it just feels wrong.

So, I may be late to the party, but I really love the tension and collapse of this arc. Very, very nicely done, and the shifting points of view are solid. Brava!

AWESOME STORY I especially liked how Tony in a way told Ziva that he loved her.

I don't get the title... "A Bad Dream." However I wish that all was a dream so she would have been tortured longer- it's more realitic. But otherwise, it's a lovely plot and close enough to the real outcome that happened...it shows you have talent.

Oh, the lovely, lovely angst! Great job, so heartwrenching. Here's to hoping for a sequel!

"Do not be too harsh on Tony when he gets back. I cannot imagine the pain his actions must have inflicted upon you, but I do know the pain they inflicted upon him"

For some reason, that line totally made me cry! My heart just wrenched for Tony, and for Ziva... Can't wait till his flight lands!

I just read this for the second time and I can't find that I reviewed it when I originally read it. For that I apologize, as I think you did a very good job on it.

I too like the ending - a bit of optimism at a time when everyone is tired and a couple are hurting pretty badly is a good place from which to move forward.

hmm... I can say with the greatest sincerity, that I enjoyed reading this story. Not so much about torturing Ziva or Tony drunk, but that is the most likely, and I liked hearing their thoughts, knowing that what you wrote as their opinions and ideas, is probably what they would be thinking. This is why I liked this story, I got a bit of post Aliyah, which makes me smile and helps me anticipate the new season in September, and I got to read their thoughts, get a good chuckle from them, and sometimes an 'aww', which is something that I do not get to enjoy when actually watching the show. Thank you for this, I enjoyed it.

I actually think it was very in character for Ziva to hook up like that. As long as she ends up with Tony in the end, I won't be too mad! lol
