Reading this, I could see Aya sitting in her hospital bed, looking out of the window, and struggling to grip her pen. I could hear her voice. Well done - I don' get your teacher's problem with it. It's beautiful. Tragic, but beautiful.

I have NO idea why your professor would not like this! It's really... well deep. And it is just perfectly fits into how Aya doesn't want to die.
