I adored that, Light was so nice to Mikami and i think you nailed Mikami's thoughts and absolute love and adoration. really well done!

The new L... Well... His name would still be "Daichi." and Mikami could've killed him with that. Otherwise you would've made the "legal name change" of the other guy that posed as Light something entirely pointless.

I do admit I mostly skimmed the parts focusing on the other relationships, though drunken Matsuda is amusing, but I am glad Light did not decide to replace Mikami with Sato, or wind up in some sort of threesome. I was dreading that...

I'm glad that you could make the ending to this as happy as you did. When I looked at the last two chapter titles, I was worried Mikami would somehow be disillusioned with Light. But it's great that you were able to create such a long story with them alive at the end. Although I did skip the Dachi/Matsuda smut scene, I have to say you did a really good job on your OCs too. And you kept in the Death Note spirit of things; mind games and manipulations, without much unneeded stuff. Very, very nice job.
