Awww...but still nice. You know, this gave me a few interesting ideas. But without Rukia interfering. I wonder how an Ichigo who defeated Aizen and still retain all his on par ( no, stronger! Gosh, i swear Ichigo in canon is Mary Sue but i love it! ) with God powers but with not much interaction with Soul Society anymore will deal with Ryuk. ...Probably won't kill and stuff like that ( cause he's Ichigo, our lovely clever yet dense Ichigo with a very strong sense of protection for others ) and annoy Ryuk. But...I bet Ichigo's 'normal' live without using the Death Note will be entertaining enough. ...ok, I'll stop blabbing stupid idea now...

And I thought that Ryuk is immortal? Since in the anime/manga he said that Shinigami can't die unless he doesn't kill a human to get the 'life force' or unless the Shinigami falls in love.. *tilts head*.. Oh well, MURDERER! I'm sure you already know this, but my OCD is nudging me to point out the giant hole in your current ending. The Death Notes not because harmless after a shinigami's death... maybe Ichigo should set fire to it on the spot?

I enjoyed this story, it shows that not even gods are above justice. You made a good attempt to bridge the concept of shinigamis in these two continuities. I salute you for that.
