This is hilarious. Yes, I also like the ceiling part the most.

The cast are all very in character (which, of course, is *awesome* since I can actually imagine this scenario happening in the series), but I don't really understand why Okita would ask Kagura's age all of a sudden because there doesn't appear to be anything leading up to it.

It might be because it is an attempt to remind the readers that Kagura is technically still in her early teens so that the punchline would be even funnier. Though I don't think Okita would ask/confirm how old Kagura is without sufficient reason if he has already decided to take her with him anyway.

Oh my goodness. This is one of my favorite pairings in Gintama (in anywhere, actually) and you made me like them even more.
