I know you wrote this a long time ago, but I just found this story and wanted to tell you how much I liked it.

Your descriptions were spot on, I could picture everything in my mind's eye. Tender, gentle and sweet - could this have been only written by a mother?

(Somehow, with Lisbon being such a tiny person, it made me think that she was a substitute child and that's why he wanted her to blow the dandelion seeds.)

One of the nicest you've written, natural, easy to read, not forced. Sweet. I can especially see the daughter 'waiting for a thank you before running off to get another.', as well as crying at first with the white seeds blowing all over. That's the part of "writing what you know" that makes things authentic. It resonated with me, as I have kids too. Good job.
