Quite an interesting idea, if I may say so.

And told in an equally interesting way. Here in this story I was indeed able to feel the voice of the fandom.

You managed to show Holmes and Watson in a somewhat diffrent way from what we know of the books, yet both are entirly true to themself.

Our poor Doctor! Holmes, while carrying out your experiments, could you please consider the fact that there can be other people around besides yourself? *sigh*

And Watson, Holmes is right. Your fear is not ridiculous at all. In my eyes, eight months is not a long time to recover from war especially as a soldier/surgeon fighting in the battle field.

Having experienced war during my childhood, I developed a fear/phobia of the sound of airplanes and jets flying over our city, thinking that there was going to be bombing any moment, and I carried this fear into my adulthood. It's been only a few years that I've overcome it and recovered. So I can thoroughly relate to Watson. (Jeez, do I have many things in common with SH universe or are the writers on this fandom simply brilliant to make me relate to happenings and to people so often? )

Anyway, it was sweet of Holmes to be so understanding and even to help Watson to overcome his fear. Way to go, Holmes!
