I don't know what Sandman is, but I got the gist of it and I still liked this fic

It was really good to read. I loved the construction of the characters and their growing, although I have missed Destruction - I think him and Naruto would be friends or something like that. But anyway, this is a great crossover, well done!

In nearly every fandom, you will (almost) always find a crossover with Naruto. I didn't expect something this good- honestly, you surprised me. I loved it, especially Desire's. "Uzumaki Naruto has a dream Desire cannot touch."

This is a wonderful little ficlit, your characterizations are wonderful! You made the Endless wonderfully mysterious yet understandable(lol that didn't even make sense) and I just love your vision of naruto through these very interesting characters

I must confess, I am not a Naruto fan. In fact, I haven't watched a minute of it in well over two years. I read fanfiction for it even less often. ...and the ones I have (Beta-)read have been less than stellar. I came upon this fic mainly because it was a Sandman crossover.

It's a very well-crafted story, a few hundred times more so than the Naruto fanfiction I'm used to seeing.

The brevity of all of the "portraits" seem more like sketches, as they don't have much depth; each Endless (save Destruction) simply brushes upon their respective aspect of Naruto. In that regard, I think calling them portraits is a bit of a stretch.

That said, I did definitely enjoy some of them. Desire's glimpse of Naruto is very well-written and -conceived. Delirium's, while it isn't quite as delirious as one would expect, is also well-written, and it captures both his and her characters well. I would have to say, though, that I would not treat the fox as his single state of delirium. He seems slightly off-kilter at all times. But that's getting into personal preferences, I think.

All in all, an enjoyable if brief read. Thanks, and good luck on whatever else you're writing.

you know, dream must realize that naruto is a story,not a storyteller, he is a wonderful story, "the gutsy ninja" the sacrificing hero, the one who lays his life for another, the humble penniless hero.

also naruto is alot like destruction, he may even remind them of him.

Hm, not bad. I espcially liked Destiny's and Death's contructions of Naruto, but then, who wouldn't?

This is a great crossover. I am absolutely in love with the Sandman comics, and Naruto also. I didn't think they could be crossed, but i guess i was wrong, you did pretty good.

I think you did a good job with representing Gaiman's creations.
