Nicely done reveal. For once, the unrestrained passion in a story seems absolutely believable. Hiding her true identify/gender for years and isolating herself from everyone except, perhaps, childhood friends would be an incredible strain. Her team's response is also credible. Lovely.

Lisbon would live in fear of her cover being blown. It wouldn't be easy to keep up the pretense of being a man in a social setting. Amusing that Jane hasn't called her on it ... yet. Of course, that gives him the advantage should he want their relationship to be anything more. (Great way to start a relationship - blackmail.)

Nice set up, though believing that Lisbon could pass for a man (even with her chest wrapped) is a stretch. But for the sake of suspending disbelief... Looking forward to the rest of your story.

Tell you what, I've negletted my work as soon as I found this fic and read it from A to Z without interruption and seriously I LOVED IT! The plot is well anchored in the time and the characters fit and act exactly like they should at the time without loosing their charm -that's my feeling at least xD

This story is absolutely fabulous! Very original yet in-character, I can't put it down ... you just made me prolong my lunch break by half an hour. I'll write more when I read the rest (which, I'm afraid, won't take long).

What a great story. I really like the fact that you managed to keep the characters at least more or less true to their original selves while placing them in such a drastically different universe. The only critique I'll offer concerns your use of the title Ms. Ms. didn't come into vogue until the feminist movement of the 1970s or so and up until that time Grace and the other unmarried women in the story would have gone by Miss. Other than that, the story is wonderfully written and I really enjoyed reading it.

Okay, I've only actually read the first chapter but I had to say this. I must have skipped over this story at least a dozen times becuase I don't generally get into stories this far from canon but for some reason, the thirteenth times I saw it clicked on it and Oh. My. God. I'm in love. Nothing has even really happened yet and I'm in love with this story. Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to go read the rest of it.
