I quickly found that I enjoy the protective father version of Vader when I started reading Star Wars fanfics

Beautiful. So bittersweet, Luke’s blindness the reason for Vader to overthrow Palpie. They’re all so gentle in this story, and Luke is so sweet I want to hug him.

Happy 10th anniversary to this amazing oneshot. Still one of the best stories in the Star Wars Universe, this one actually started my interest in the whole AU/Redeemed Vader trope. Even though it's been some time since you were last online so you probably wont' see this but I wish you all the best still.

And there's that terrible word, "oneshot". I mean, I know how it is, sometimes you only have that one story to write for something, but I still need MORE. Do you know if anyone else has written something inspired by this?

I love this fic. I'm pretty sure it's one of the first ten SW fics I've ever read and I really, really like it. I realise it's unlikely, since it's been 8 years since you published this one, but I wish you'd write a prequel, what happened for Luke to end up with Vader and how the coup had played out. A sequel where we find out Leia's furthering relationship with her family would also be nice.

I hope you're proud of yourself for making me stay up to near 2:00 in the morning reading this, breaking my feels with your writing and your emotional things. But I don't regret the sleep deprivation I'll have tomorrow, because this was fantastic. :)
