Guest chapter 6 . 8/24/2012 Stunning. |
Lukie15 chapter 6 . 7/11/2012 I've not come across fanfiction that leaves me with such an aching feeling before. A part of me is bitter and a part is grateful for this. I'll always come back to you, hoping for a new story to read; to feel this again. |
12ofHearts chapter 6 . 10/8/2011 Good story. |
The Behemoth chapter 6 . 7/31/2011 Brilliant. |
shooboosha chapter 6 . 4/11/2010 Absolutely nonsensical review, I've stayed up to all hours of the night reading all three of your stories because /God/ they are beautiful, seriously, every sentence is like a breath of song, I just couldn't stop. Everything about them was powerful, potent, it was so easy to just relax into your words and just let the story take you, but you didn't feel buffeted by the turn of events, no matter how unpredictable (and at 2 in the morning, I was having trouble predicting anything) everything just felt natural. And despite being completely wrapped up and loving every moment of it (I just love being involved with stories like yours, there's something about well written things that makes me just wish they could go on forever, and this is the next best thing), I was somehow still able to admire your writing, which was absolutely /fantastic/. There are literally hundreds of lines and moments I could quote back at you, but it would just be like picking apart a beautiful tapestry and saying which threads you like the best. I am going to have to re-read these again once I'm coherent, and I know I'll probably enjoy them even more when I'm not all muzzy-headed, but I simply had to make some effort to tell you how absolutely gorgeous your writing is and how much I loved these stories, though I doubt it makes any sense. It's the thought that counts? [nervous] 3 Simone |
Kinky Bootz chapter 6 . 3/18/2010 If you could hear me I'd give your trilogy an hour's applause. Somehow you have mangaged to make a totally believable fic of this pairing, which is no easy mission. It stays so true to the tone of the novel, are you by any chance Alan Moore in disguise? Also, doorway sex, NICE! |
LadyRose chapter 6 . 1/20/2010 I've read all three stories, and I absolutely love them! I would love to read some original work of yours sometimes, as you are clearly talented beyond the realm of fan fiction. |
whitealmond chapter 6 . 1/19/2010 I read all three stories in one sitting - you're amazing :) |
Mad Mab chapter 4 . 12/30/2009 Do you think you'll be adding another installment in this 3 part series? It's really good. You're one of my favorite Rorschach/Daniel writers now. |
SaintDogStreet chapter 6 . 12/2/2009 This is such an awesome series. I love it. You rock. |
Jackie May chapter 6 . 8/29/2009 A wonderful story. I just loved the twist with Laurie at the end. I liked that she came back so powerful and finished what she had tried to do at the end of the GN. (plus I just love imagining what she'd look like all 'jon-esqu'. She'd be so beautiful!) And of course Dan and Rorschach, such a perfect ending for them. I'm all happy now. :) I know this is the funniest little detail to get a 'squee' over, but the little mention of Dan noticing for the first time Ror's gray hairs just gave me a little happy sigh. Its just such a sweet little detail, something tender and intimate and indicative of their humanity. Thank you again for this. |
Mariagoner chapter 6 . 8/22/2009 This was a truly wonderful ending. Thank you for writing a series that entertained me for hours! |
Mariagoner chapter 5 . 8/22/2009 Laurie coming back truly astounded me- and Dan turning down he offer to stay with Rorschach practically made tears rise into my eyes. It's absolutely wonderful, and the culmination of their entire relationship right there. |
Mariagoner chapter 3 . 8/22/2009 Leslie is *fascinating,* and I love her verve and her pained resolve and wit, even while facing her doom. She's a wonderful creation and it's truly interesting to see her with Dan! Love that half-second glimpse of her past with Adrian as well... |
Mariagoner chapter 2 . 8/22/2009 Home, he thinks, his ruined city and its haunted people and everything he fled. It deserves his apology more than Rorschach does, and he pleads with it silently: I had to leave. Things were falling apart. And like his partner, who pulls the mask down and hunches his shoulders as if bracing for a blow, the city offers him no answer. The poetry in this line honestly killed me. I want Dan to be happy *so much* it actually hurts. Poor Dan. Whither his content ending? |
